Frequently Asked Questions
Buying an Aircraft
A signed agreement and a $1,000 deposit hold the aircraft in your name. Good aircraft at fair prices move quickly, and we sometimes receive multiple offers — the deposit is what takes it off the market.
Yes. Your deposit holds the aircraft for five business days for pre-purchase inspection, insurance and financing. We'll deliver it to a facility in central Indiana for a mechanic of your choosing — or provide names of on-site A&P mechanics if you'd rather it not fly first. See the buying process.
When log books are available online, the listing shows a "View Log Books" button — fill in your name and email and we'll send you a private link to view them online. They're viewable for your review but can't be downloaded. Otherwise, call us at 765-378-0300 and we'll walk you through them.
We work with several aircraft lenders regularly — see our financing partners.
Bank wire or certified funds.
There's a flight school on the premises, roving certified flight instructors for insurance checkouts, and contract pilots available to deliver your aircraft to you.
Selling an Aircraft
An unsold aircraft typically costs its owner $3,000–$6,000 a year in hangar, insurance and inspections. Brokering puts your aircraft in front of real buyers — showroom and internet traffic, demonstration pilots available seven days a week — and we handle the tire-kickers, paperwork and closing. More in Brokerage vs. Self-Sell.
Call the office at 765-378-0300, or fill out the seller intake form. We travel to you and inspect your aircraft on the spot.
We research the market for your specific make, model and equipment and work to get the fair amount the market will allow — and we keep you updated on strategy and interest throughout.
