1978 was the first year that Piper offered the Archer II. The 1978 Archer was equipped with the new style wheel fairings that fully enclosed the struts and brakes, making it the fastest airplane in its class with cruise speeds of 125 knots on around 9 gallons per hour! It has a range of over 600 miles, making it a great cross-country machine. This Archer has been corporately owned and flown, Midwest based, no damage history, and complete logs. It is well-equipped for Instrument flight, with a King Digital avionics package, and STEC Autopilot. Original cosmetics, but still a clean example of a low time Archer! Only $59,500!!!
